Privacy Statement
How ELITA Ltd collects, uses and protects personal data when you shop with us, book training or contact our technical team.

Who we are
ELITA Ltd, Menzies Road, Hastings, TN38 9BB, is the data controller for personal data collected through elitaltd.co.uk. You can reach us at info@elitaltd.co.uk for any privacy question or request.
What we collect
Order data: name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number, order contents and delivery preference.
Account data: email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), saved contact details and order history.
Support data: anything you send us through the contact form, a product review or a training booking.
Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and to measure performance.
Why we use it
To take payment, pick, pack and deliver your order, and to handle returns or warranty questions.
To answer technical questions and to manage Training School bookings.
To meet our legal duties, including keeping VAT and sales records for the periods HMRC requires.
To improve the shop, our product range and our published guidance.
Lawful basis
Performance of a contract for orders, deliveries and bookings. Legal obligation for tax and accounting records. Legitimate interests for fraud prevention, site security and service improvement. Consent for marketing email and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
Delivery partners, including DPD, receive the name, address, email and phone number needed to complete delivery.
Payment providers process card details directly; ELITA never stores full card numbers.
Our hosting and database providers process data on our instructions under written agreements.
We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for seven years to satisfy UK tax law. Account data is kept until you ask us to close the account. Contact-form messages are kept for two years.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, ask for deletion where no legal duty requires us to keep it, object to processing, or request portability. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
